TVpad3 mediaplayer is expected to be released in October 2013. TVpad3 specifications seems to be the same compared to TVpad2. TVpad3 has the same CPU (TCC 8925) as the TVpad2 and the same amount of RAM. TVpad3 also has a built-in WIFI chipset just like the TVpad2, so you don't need to buy an external WIFI usb-stick.
A difference between TVpad3 and TVpad2 seems to be the appearance of the machine. TVpad3 has a different look compared to earlier TVpad versions. Also, the dimensions of TVpad3 (100x100x23mm) are slightly smaller compared to TVpad2 (104x104x28mm). TVpad3 also has a new remote control that is more sensitive than before.
Another difference between TVpad3 and TVpad2 is the ability to make VOIP calls using the VOIP phone on the TVpad3. The VOIP feature was originally announced for the TVpad2, but it has not been implemented yet and I don't think it will happen anymore for the TVpad2. You won't get the VOIP phone for free, you have to pay for that accesoire. The price of the VOIP handset is yet known.
TVpad3 price is 259 US dollar at this moment. TVpad3 is 30 US dollar more expensive than TVpad2. It must be mentioned that new tvpad apps will be available for TVpad3 in the near future.
